Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery Project Manager to lead distribution resiliency projects across the region. You will oversee cross‑functional teams delivering power distribution, substation, and utility engineering projects while managing budgets, schedules, and resources.

This role offers remote work within the region with periodic face‑to‑face meetings; travel to client offices as needed. You will drive QA/QC, safety, and compliance with NERC/IEEE standards, and mentor engineering staff to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
7–10+ years of relevant post‑education experience in Power Delivery/Utility projects.
Strong understanding of utility operations, power systems, and distribution design.
Familiarity with NERC, IEEE standards, NEC codes, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with EPC project delivery and capital programs in the energy sector.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead cross‑functional teams delivering power distribution, substation, and utility engineering projects.
Manage multiple concurrent projects involving distribution lines, feeders, substations, and grid upgrades, including budgets, schedule, and resources.
Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and resource plans for utility capital improvement programs and T&D projects.
Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with EPC project delivery models.
Coordinate contract negotiations, client presentations, and stakeholder meetings with utilities and regulators.
Provide reporting on project performance, risks, schedule, and budget status.
