Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Power Delivery and Energy team across the United States, with offices including Overland Park, KS.

The role focuses on building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and shaping strategic proposals with engineering experts. You will lead marketing plans, forecast sales, and collaborate across management, project teams, and executives to drive growth in Power Delivery and Generation sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field, engineering degree preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years of relevant experience in engineering or power utility industry.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of business development success in Electric Utility sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining clients.
• Experience presenting to potential clients and coordinating proposals.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: main contact for assigned clients and relationships with key contacts.
• Business Development & Marketing: identify opportunities and develop client-specific plans.
• Sales & Forecasting: develop/update annual sales forecast to meet goals.
• Proposal & Technical Collaboration: work with management and engineering to develop proposals.
