Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Business Development Manager for its Power Delivery and Energy team to lead client relationships, uncover opportunities, and shape strategic proposals. The role focuses on Power Delivery, Generation, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and management.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in engineering/power utilities and 1–2 years in electric utility BD, with strong presentation skills and a willingness to travel up to 75% in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• Typically requires 6 years of relevant experience in engineering or power utility industry.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of business development success in the Electric Utility sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to adjust messaging to all levels of stakeholders and establish strong client/employee relationships.
• Proven track record of developing, retaining, and maintaining clients.
• Proven relationships with clients in the power industry and EPC project developers.
• Experience developing and making presentations for potential clients, especially in conference settings.
• Experience in responding to requests for qualifications and proposals from clients and in preparing proposals and proposal coordination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel on business 50-75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: main contact for assigned clients and develop relationships with key contacts.
• Business Development & Marketing: identify new business and marketing opportunities and develop client-specific plans.
• Sales & Forecasting: develop/update annual sales forecast to meet goals.
• Proposal & Technical Collaboration: work with management to develop key technical proposals and interact with executives, PMs, and engineering groups.
