Job summary

Mobile Modular Portable Storage - A Division of McGrath is seeking a Sales Representative for a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC. You will identify, pursue, and close opportunities for renting portable storage solutions, with a mix of inside and field activity.

You will develop strategies, manage relationships, and provide accurate estimates while delivering exceptional customer service. Remote work from home is allowed, but local visits to clients in the Raleigh area are required to support

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Proven experience in sales, inside and outside.
• Effective negotiation and closing skills.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills; can articulate ideas in writing and speech.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of motivation and passion for sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet and customer databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and grow existing business to increase profits for the branch/region.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email or in-person visits.
• Build relationships with potential customers to establish trust.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to answer questions and offer solutions.
• Close customer deals through generated leads and prospecting.
• Increase market share in new and established markets.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and inventory to deliver solutions.
• Place a high volume of outbound calls to match needs with products/services.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, specs and requests in the division's database.
• Develop relationships within networking organizations or industry associations.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
