Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Rep – Mobile Storage to be the voice and initial contact for customers. You will lease and sell storage products, mobile offices, modular buildings, and related equipment, using consultative skills to turn prospects into buyers.

You’ll build relationships, develop territory plans, present solutions, and collaborate with teams to maximize revenue. This role includes a base plus commissions and onboarding incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3+ years in sales.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and their subsidiaries.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from existing accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts.
• Collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross selling.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Develop and present company products and services to clients.
• Utilize CRM tools to develop pipeline of opportunities.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions.
