Job summary

AIS Insurance is hiring a Policy Service Agent I to work remotely from home. You will provide excellent customer service for auto, home, and commercial policies, quoting options and assisting with policy changes across multiple carriers.

The role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of P&C underwriting guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment. State licensing and bilingual Spanish are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Active Resident General Lines Property & Casualty license required; eligible to obtain licensing in all states.
• 2 years of directly-related Property & Casualty Insurance experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to service existing auto, home, and commercial policies.
• Explain coverage options, quote additional lines, and assist with policy changes.
• Collaborate with underwriters and billing to resolve issues and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of customer records across multiple carriers.
