Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader to head the Care Connect Suite Platform and Voice Connect IVR initiatives. This role oversees distributed teams across platforms, partners with the Platform Architect, and defines architecture, roadmaps, and delivery plans.

You will guide Kubernetes-based platform design, ensure quality and security standards, and mentor engineers while coordinating with product management to deliver on strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams, including distributed/global locations.
• 8+ years in software development or development-testing with platform/infrastructure focus.
• Experience shaping technical roadmaps with architects and product management.
• Experience with security, IAM, and API-based architectures.
• Agile/Scrum development experience and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform and Voice Connect engineering teams within Care Connect Suite.
• Define priorities, architecture, and delivery plans with product management and architecture.
• Provide technical direction for Kubernetes-based Platform and IVR design.
• Own architecture components and guide multiple workstreams across teams.
• Lead Scrum/SAFe planning, backlog, dependencies, and risk tracking.
• Ensure releases meet quality, security, compliance, and deployment standards.
• Lead production issue resolution and lifecycle activities from design to modernization.
• Mentor distributed engineering and QA teams focusing on accountability and excellence.
