Honor is hiring a hands-on Platform Engineering Manager to lead Infra + DevOps for their Care Platform. This remote-first role guides a senior team, owns the platform roadmap, and partners with ICs and domain teams to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure and developer tooling.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in platform engineering with 3+ years managing Senior/Staff engineers, deep AWS, IaC (CDK/Terraform), Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience. Equity and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/platform engineering with 3+ years in people management at Senior/Staff level.
• Hands-on depth in cloud infra (AWS), IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD and service-to-service architecture.
• Track record of enabling autonomous senior engineers through context and feedback.
• Ability to translate priorities into a coherent platform roadmap while balancing investment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Engineering, overseeing infra, CI/CD, reliability and security foundations.
• Own Platform's strategic roadmap and day-to-day execution while guiding deep technical decisions.
• Mentor senior engineers and balance KTLO with new work and incidents.
• Collaborate with senior ICs and domain teams to align platform capabilities with business goals.
