Oak Street Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for a remote role. You will act as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists, delivering exceptional customer service and phone etiquette with empathy for patients.

Responsibilities include handling refill requests, outbound outreach, and collaborating with care teams. Requires active CPhT license, 1 year of retail experience, and strong MS Office/Google Suite skills. Remote training is provided.

Competenze

Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite preferred.
US work authorization.

Mansioni

Field inbound calls for refill requests and confirm status of refills.
Assist/remind patients in obtaining refills from retailers, independents, or mail-order pharmacies.
Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
Handle 40–50 inbound or 60–80 outbound calls daily.
Coordinate with care teams to overcome barriers to refills.
Use EMR to send requests and updates to care teams.
Document information into electronic platforms.
Capture and document patient requests before ending calls.
Monitor CareReq queue to ensure requisitions are completed.
Arrange transportation for center visits.
Schedule off-cadence or patient appointments.
Triage with nurse line for acute concerns.
