Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to support patient refill requests and coordinate care remotely. You will handle inbound calls, process renewals, and work across pharmacy networks to ensure timely med access for patients.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, a valid State PhT license or CPhT, and proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; remote duties require a private, compliant home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refill requests and renewals.
• Assist/remind patients to obtain refills from various pharmacies.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on behalf of patients.
• Maintain high call volume with clear documentation in EMR platforms.
• Coordinate with care teams to overcome barriers to refills.
• Utilize CareReq and other systems to manage requests and updates.
• Arrange transportation for center visits and schedule appointments.
• Ensure privacy and confidentiality in a remote home office setup.
• Meet performance metrics and maintain licensure and CE requirements.
