Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for a remote role. You will serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists, delivering exceptional customer service and phone etiquette while maintaining patient privacy.

The position requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, CPhT certification, and at least one year of retail pharmacy experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence or eligible to obtain license
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent completed
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, medical Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refills, verify status, and renew medications
• Contact patients to assist with refills from retail, independent, or mail-order pharmacies
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on patients’ behalf as needed
• Handle 40–50 inbound and 60–80 outbound calls per day
• Coordinate with care teams to remove barriers to refills and document in EMR
