Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years retail pharmacy experience.
• Understanding of Medicare Part D and CMS rules.
• HIPAA privacy and security knowledge.
• Bilingual and National Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to prescription refill requests through various channels (phone, email, fax).
• Verify the validity of refill requests ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and dispense prescription refills accurately following protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal/external stakeholders.
• Track KPIs related to refill processing and present findings to leadership.
• Adhere to schedules and quality metrics to maintain productivity.
• Provide admin support for special projects related to medication refill programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflow and patient care.
