Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a PAC Specialist for its Patient Engagement Center of Excellence. This remote-based role engages with patients, doctors, and facilities by phone, handling prescription authorizations, transfers, and billing, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The position involves high-volume data entry, collaborative work with clinicians, and outreach to onboard new patients across a nationwide network. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• CPhT is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter and verify prescription data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive medication authorizations, clarifications or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and billing checks.
• Make outbound calls to patients as needed.
• Onboard new patients and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to support patient care.
