Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Health Pharmacy Services is seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to lead a remote patient access support center and reimbursement staff. You’ll oversee staffing, training, and KPI monitoring across 1-2 client programs, ensuring high-quality service and retention.

You will develop SOPs, mentor up to 20 team members, coordinate program changes, and collaborate with senior leaders to drive operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in related field of patient support programs preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Advanced computer skills in Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Travel may be needed to perform duties up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for patient access support contact center team of up to 20 team members and provide daily support.
• Coach, teach, train, and mentor team members in a remote setting while monitoring performance.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions for the program.
• Coordinate and deliver reviews of program metrics / dashboards and share results with senior leaders.
• Assess/test/approve program changes including IT, platform upgrades, and business rules.
• Report system issues that impact the CRM and productivity.
• Manage employee timecards and HR responsibilities as a people leader.
• Open job requisitions, conduct interviews, and provide personnel recommendations.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to determine corrective action.
• Monitor program adherence, quality, attendance and address accordingly.
• Report Corrective and Preventative Actions promptly.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve complex program issues.
• Conduct recurring development-based 1x1s focused on performance and goals.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines and maintain client communication.
• Contribute to quarterly business reviews with clients, virtual or in-person.
• Seek and implement process efficiencies to reduce manual work.
• Host recurring team meetings to discuss updates, SLAs/KPIs, QA, trends.
