Job summary

Cardinal Health Sonexus Health Pharmacy Services seeks a Specialty Pharmacy Operations Supervisor to oversee patient access support and reimbursement staff. You will supervise up to 20 team members, ensure adherence to SOPs, and drive performance against client contracts.

Responsibilities include coaching, program metric reviews, process changes, and close collaboration with senior leaders. Remote, full-time with US-wide scope and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in related field of patient support programs preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint (e.g. updating slide layout, adding slides, adding & updating charts, and graphs, and updating themes), and preferred Excel capabilities including pivot tables, graphing, and basic formulas.
• Travel may be needed to perform duties up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for patient access support contact center team of up to 20 members.
• Coach, teach, train, and mentor team members in a remote setting while monitoring performance.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions specific to the program.
• Coordinate and deliver recurring reviews of program metrics / dashboards for senior leaders.
• Assess/Test / Solution / Approve program changes including IT, platform upgrades, and modifications to business rules.
• Report system issues that can impact CRM and productivity.
• Manage employee timecards and HR responsibilities as a people leader.
• Open job requisitions, conduct interviews, and provide personnel recommendations to senior leaders.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to determine corrective action including termination when applicable.
• Monitor program adherence, quality, attendance and address accordingly.
• Report Corrective and Preventative Actions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with supervisors and partners to resolve complex program issues.
• Conduct development-based 1x1s focused on performance and goals.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Maintain contact with clients/partners through strong communication.
• Present quarterly business reviews to clients (virtual or in-person).
• Seek process efficiencies to reduce manual work.
• Host regular team meetings to discuss updates and KPIs.
