Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is seeking an Onboarding Pharmacy Technician for a fully remote role in the U.S. This position supports new clients by handling prescription orders, insurance matters, and billing, while ensuring timely onboarding and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities include order entry, calls with facilities, insurance adjudication, and coordinating with prescribers, all in a fast-paced environment. Extensive software experience is required.

Qualifications

• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
• 1+ year experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack software required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders and refill orders accurately.
• Handle order exceptions such as refill-too-soon or invalid orders.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls with facilities.
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections.
• Coordinate refill requests with prescribers.
• Triages and troubleshoots requests from prescribers and customers.
• Educate facilities on pharmacy processes and online portal.
• Package tracking via FedEx and courier services.
• Coordinate pharmacy transfers with EMAR programs.
