Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is hiring a Remote Pharmacy Onboarding Technician to support long-term care operations nationwide. The role focuses on prescription order entry, billing, insurance matters, and coordinating onboarding for new clients, with hours Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm CST.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in retail or long-term care pharmacy, a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License, and experience with Framework LTC and DocuTrack.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy.
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Experience with Framework LTC and DocuTrack software required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders and refills accurately and efficiently.
• Handle order exceptions such as refill-too-soon or invalid orders.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls with facilities.
• Identify valid vs invalid orders and process accordingly.
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections.
• Initiate refill requests with prescribers.
• Triage and troubleshoot prescriber and customer requests.
• Coordinate pharmacy transfers and EMAR familiarity.
