Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete patient records, including demographics, allergies, history, and payer data. The role focuses on calling patients and providers, translating prescription information, and assisting with prior authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state-required registration/licensure as applicable.
• Minimum two years pharmacy support or healthcare experience.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts (8am–7pm Mon–Thu, 8am–6pm Fri).
• Must participate in compliance program objectives and interact cooperatively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Place calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services including care management and copay/billing support.
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescription orders accurately.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and uphold ethical standards.
• Support other areas of the facility as needed.
