Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informatics specialist to support the medication electronic health record (EHR) and act as a liaison between clinicians and IT. This remote role leverages clinical and informatics skills to optimize medication safety and workflow.

You will design, evaluate, and implement EHR builds, collaborate with providers and leadership, and develop analytics to improve performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• EPIC Willow certification required within six months.
• PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in pharmacy informatics preferred.
• Pharmacy Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop informatics plans, data analysis, and systems advancing evidence-based practice.
• Design, evaluate, and implement new EHR build to support clinical practice.
• Consult with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems.
• Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Create data analytics to facilitate data review and improve performance.
