Job summary

AnewHealth's Engagement Technician in our remote-based Patient Engagement Center supports patients, doctors, and facilities by phone, handling inbound calls and outbound outreach to maintain medication profiles.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging pharmacy knowledge, billing and prior authorization processes, while upholding confidentiality and compliance, as part of ExactCare's nationwide care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB or NHA certification and current pharmacy technician registration.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Answer inbound calls from patients and provide pharmacist-facing support.
• Place outbound calls to update medication profiles and collect balances.
• Assist with claim adjudication, prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Support onboarding for new patients and coordinate with pharmacists.
