Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Patient Engagement team in a fully remote, phone-based environment. You will engage with patients, doctors, and facilities, resolving inquiries and assisting with balances while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, collaboration with pharmacists and clinicians, and adherence to state/federal regulations. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified with PTCB or NHA and maintain current certificate.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound calls from current patients and resolve questions.
• Collect on patient balances when due.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a closed-door remote pharmacy environment.
• Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and medical professionals.
• Collaborate with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure patient care.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Provide backup support during high call volumes.
• Assist with patient questions over the phone.
• Uphold AnewHealth Core Values in communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
