Job summary
Sentara Health is seeking a strategic Manager, Pharmacy Analytics & Reporting to lead analytics, reporting, and PBM oversight. This is a full-time remote position that balances hands-on analysis with mentoring a team of analysts; you will collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, Compliance, and Government Performance to drive data-driven decisions.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years in healthcare, 4+ years in managed care PBM analytics, SQL proficiency, and strong Excel with Power
Qualifications
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- 4+ years of managed care pharmacy or PBM analytics including Pharmacy claims, medical drugs, and enrollment; experience with drug pricing, rebates, network discounts, benefit designs, auditing, regulatory reporting, and compliance preferred
- Must be proficient in writing SQL queries
- Excel and data visualization experience; Power BI and Tableau dashboards preferred
- Project management experience is required and leadership/mentoring skills are important
Responsibilities
- Monitor pharmacy trends and develop/maintain reporting
- Lead a team of analytics resources and mentor staff
- Support PBM oversight including financial guarantees and invoicing
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Compliance, and Government Performance
- Provide data-driven presentations and ROI analyses
