Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a strategic leader for the role of Manager, Pharmacy Analytics & Reporting, a full-time remote position. The role will oversee informatics, analytical tools, information systems, and data stores to monitor pharmacy trends and develop and maintain reporting, while supporting PBM oversight and invoicing.

The ideal candidate will mentor a team of analysts, collaborate across IT, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Compliance, and Government Performance, and lead with a servant

Qualifications

• 5 years of healthcare experience required.
• 4+ years of managed care pharmacy or PBM analytics experience including pharmacy claims, medical drugs, and enrollment.
• Must be proficient in writing SQL queries.
• Excel proficiency with data visualizations, dashboards in PowerBI and Tableau.
• Experience with DataBricks.
• Experience developing data driven presentations and ROI analyses.
• Project management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pharmacy trends and develop and maintain reporting.
• Support PBM oversight including financial guarantees and invoicing.
• Lead a team of analytics resources.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Compliance, and Government Performance areas.
• Mentor and coach team members; foster growth.
• Balance independent analyses with mentoring and coaching of staff.
