Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to support the medication EHR and related clinical systems in a remote capacity. The role focuses on optimizing workflows, safety, and data analysis within a complex health system.

You will collaborate with clinicians, IT staff, and leadership to design and implement informatics solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance evidence-based practice across multiple sites. A pharmacy degree with PGY training is valued.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy informatics knowledge and clinical judgment required.
• Epic Willow certification required or equivalent.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR.
• Serves as liaison for clinical informatics across teams.
• Develops informatics plans and data analyses to improve safety and workflows.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and improve care quality.
• Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements through informatics.
