Job summary
Advocate Health seeks a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to serve as the interface between clinicians and information technology, translating clinical needs into system builds within the EHR. You will lead data analytics, informatics planning, and automation efforts to enhance patient safety and medication use across enterprise workflows.
The role requires a PharmD with PGY1/PGY2 residency experience and Epic Willow certification, with remote-capable work from certain states.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist degree and state licensure or eligibility
- Experience with clinical informatics and EHR systems
- Strong communication with clinicians and IT teams
Responsibilities
- Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR as liaison
- Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems that advance evidence-based practice
- Designs and implements new EHR build to support clinical practice and patient safety
- Consults with providers and leaders to align information systems with medication workflows
- Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements
- Creates data analytics to facilitate evaluation of performance
- Develops automated clinical rules to support patient care
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
