Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking a Sales Training Manager to design, develop, and deliver high-impact training for the Commercial field sales organization. You will partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access and Compliance to align training strategies with brand objectives and corporate priorities.

The role supports onboarding new hires, enhances the effectiveness of tenured sales staff, and leads training during NSMs, POAs, and field initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a field trainer, sales training, or equivalent role.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive training curricula for new hire onboarding (Phase 1 and Phase 2).
• Lead end-to-end facilitation of New Hire Training (NHT).
• Develop and deliver training content for POA and National Sales Meetings, and other learning initiatives.
• Incorporate adult learning principles and experiential learning to drive outcomes.
