Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America seeks a Sales Training Manager to design, develop, and deliver high-impact programs for the Commercial field sales team. You will partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access and Compliance to align training with brand objectives and company priorities.

The role focuses on onboarding new hires, advancing field sales effectiveness, and supporting NSM, POA, and other learning initiatives across virtual and in-person settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience.
• Minimum of 1 year in a field trainer, sales training, or equivalent role.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive training curricula for new hire onboarding (Phase 1 and Phase 2).
• Lead end-to-end facilitation of New Hire Training (NHT) and onboarding readiness.
• Develop and deliver training content for POA and National Sales Meetings and other learning initiatives.
• Incorporate adult learning principles to drive measurable outcomes.
