Job summary

Novogradac in the United States seeks a Principal to oversee PHA/HUD audit engagements and related tax work. You will manage engagements from planning to cash collection, supervise staff, develop new clients, and meet sales targets while representing the firm in the business community.

The role emphasizes government and affordable housing audits with opportunities to build specialized expertise within our Tax/Audit practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax rules.
• Experience managing client engagements and supervising staff.
• Ability to meet sales goals and grow client base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, staffing, timing, and cash collection for engagements.
• Supervise and mentor staff at all levels and provide career guidance.
• Identify, meet with and pursue new clients; meet annual sales goals.
• Represent the firm externally and promote client relationships.
