Job summary

Novogradac seeks a Principal to oversee PHA/HUD audit engagements and related government-focused work. The role emphasizes client engagement management, staff supervision, and development of new business opportunities within a national firm.

You will contribute to the growth of the public housing/audit practice, mentor junior staff, and represent the firm externally through panels and publications while advancing your technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• Demonstrated ability to produce technically correct work with high accuracy.
• Ability to manage a fee base of at least $1,000,000 as Principal-1.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client engagements from planning to completion with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and mentor staff at all levels and support development.
• Identify and pursue new clients; meet sales goals per Principal Plan.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and firm reputation.
• Contribute to panels, publications, and firm trainings to promote the brand.
