Insurance Office Of America, Inc. is seeking a Private Client Group (Personal Lines) Account Associate to support the account management team remotely. The role focuses on policy servicing, client communications, and carrier coordination to ensure timely service for personal lines clients in the California market.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in personal lines, an active P&C license, and strong customer service and MS Office skills. A hybrid onsite option may apply per policy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Active P&C license.
• Ability to obtain licensing in 50 states.
• Multiple carrier experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Deliver excellent service by proactively anticipating client needs and maintaining professional communication.
• Policy Servicing: Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and address changes with accuracy.
• Correspondence Management: Manage email, fax, and return mail communications and update client records.
• Underwriting Support: Communicate with carriers and clients to fulfill underwriting requirements.
• Proofs of Insurance: Prepare and deliver accurate proof of insurance documents promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Account Managers to service books of business.
• Claims Assistance: Assist with client claims processes as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements, including licensure and CE.
• Relationship Building: Develop positive relationships with IOA agents, leadership, teammates, and carriers.
• Professional Development: Strengthen industry knowledge and insurance expertise to support client needs.
• Champion IOA core values and demonstrate integrity and leadership.
