Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Private Client Group (Personal Lines) Account Associate to support California personal lines accounts.

This fully remote role requires a valid P&C license and strong client service skills, with onsite requirements possible per policy. You will coordinate with carriers, handle policy servicing, and assist with underwriting and claims as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Active P&C license.
• Ability to obtain licensing in 50 states.
• Multiple carrier experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Deliver excellent service by proactively anticipating client needs and maintaining professional communication.
• Policy Servicing: Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and address changes with accuracy.
• Correspondence Management: Manage email, fax, and return mail communications and update client records.
• Underwriting Support: Communicate with carriers and clients to meet underwriting requirements.
• Proofs of Insurance: Prepare and deliver proof of insurance documents promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Account Managers to service books of business.
• Claims Assistance: Aid in client claims processes as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and maintain licensure and CE requirements.
