Insurance Office of America is seeking a Private Client Group (Personal Lines) Account Associate to support the account management team remotely, with a California personal lines focus. The role emphasizes policy servicing, client communications, and coordination with carriers to ensure timely service while maintaining active licensure and ongoing education.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of personal lines experience, a current P&C license, and the ability to obtain licenses nationwide.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience
• Active P&C license
• Ability to obtain licensing in 50 states
• Multiple carrier experience preferred but not required
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client service by proactively anticipating client needs and maintaining professional communication.
• Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and address changes with high accuracy.
• Efficiently manage email, fax, and return mail communications, updating client records.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to fulfill underwriting requirements and provide necessary documentation.
• Prepare and deliver proof of insurance documents promptly.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to service books of business and ensure seamless client experiences.
• Assist with client claims processes as needed.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding challenges and performance expectations; implement coaching feedback.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining licensure and continuing education.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with IOA agents, leadership, teammates, and carriers.
• Continuously strengthen industry knowledge and insurance expertise to support client and business needs.
