Job summary

Groundworks, North America's leading foundation repair and water management specialist, seeks a Permit Coordinator Supervisor to oversee permitting across branches and jurisdictions.

You will lead a team of Permit Coordinators, drive process improvements, and maintain SOPs while ensuring code compliance and timely submissions. This role values organization, coaching, and cross-department collaboration to support project success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of permitting, operations, or project coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, ICC code, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Permit Coordinators across branches.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Develop SOPs, ROEs, and jurisdictional requirement sheets.
• Monitor permit status and ensure compliance.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual permitting reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, CAD, sales, and branch leadership.
• Resolve escalations with internal teams or external agencies.
• Maintain digital permitting records and financial documentation.
