Job summary

Groundworks Operations, LLC is seeking a Centralized Permit Supervisor to oversee permitting across branches and jurisdictions, leading a team of Permit Coordinators and ensuring timely, code‑compliant submissions. You will partner with engineering, CAD, and leadership to move projects forward while maintaining strong compliance and reporting discipline.

The role requires solid organizational and analytical skills and familiarity with ICC codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of permitting, operations, or project coordination experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, ICC code, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide daily direction to Permit Coordinators across multiple branches.
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts to build a strong, engaged team.
• Develop training guides, cross-training resources, and refresher training sessions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor permitting metrics, list boxes, and data tracking tools to ensure accurate reporting.
• Lead coordination meetings with engineering and CAD teams to address permitting gaps.
