Intuit is hiring a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve notices, prepare amendments, and correct payroll errors across multiple states. This remote, part-time role targets a minimum of 20 hours per week with potential to flex up to 40 hours.

You will handle IRS/state notices, Form 941-X and W-2c amendments, and collaborate with Corrections/Amendments teams while mentoring colleagues and enhancing SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years hands-on payroll tax experience with notices resolution and amendments
• Experience resolving State and Federal notices independently across multiple states
• Knowledge of tax payment and filing regulations across federal/state jurisdictions
• Experience with Form 941-X and W-2c amendments across states including PA/OH

Responsabilités

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts.
• Independently research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare written agency responses with complete documentation.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize SLA dates.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP and KB updates and cross-functional collaboration.
