Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax case work across notices, amendments, and corrections.
• Experience resolving State and Federal payroll tax notices independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, including processing payroll runs and tax filings.
• Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices, balance-due notices, and account mismatches.
• Prepare written agency responses with documentation and submit by deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize cases by SLA date.
• Perform high-level trend analysis of customer and system data to identify deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOPs and KB updates and mentor TP1 staff.
