Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and pay & file. You will mentor colleagues while handling a high-volume workload with strong technical depth.

The role requires hands-on experience in notice resolution, amended returns, and payroll corrections, with exposure to multiple states and federal tax rules. Strong communication and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices and amended returns across multiple states.
• Ability to read notices, determine resolution paths, and work independently.
• Experience preparing amended Federal and State payroll tax returns.

Responsabilités

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts with accuracy and SLA focus.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices end-to-end.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation and file within deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c) independently.
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Prioritize cases by SLA date and maintain case documentation.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP/KB updates and cross-functional collaboration.
