Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and pay & file. You’ll mentor colleagues while handling a high-volume workload with independence and strong technical depth.

The role requires hands-on experience with Federal and State notices, amended returns, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced payroll service environment. Flexibility and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience with focus on notices and amendments.
• Strong knowledge of IRS/state notices and tax filings.
• Experience preparing amended returns (Form 941-X, W-2c).
• Ability to read notices and map resolution paths across states.
• Experience with multi-state payroll tax compliance and local rules.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work across notices and amendments.
• Research and resolve complex State and Federal payroll tax notices.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation before deadlines.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X, state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document audit trails.
• Manage WIP queue with SLA awareness and thorough records.
• Analyze data to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge base updates.
