Intuit, Inc. is seeking a payroll tax professional to resolve notices, correct payroll errors, and prepare amended returns. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and mentoring within a high-volume environment in Ohio.

You will collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams while maintaining detailed case documentation and meeting agency deadlines. A CPP is preferred as you grow in a multi-client payroll tax setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices and amended returns.
• Ability to resolve state and federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Experience preparing Form 941-X and W-2c across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts, including filings and payments.
• Independently research and resolve complex state and federal notices.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation and timely submissions.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X and state equivalents).
• Support payroll correction workflows and document the audit trail.
• Maintain organized WIP and meet SLA-driven deadlines.
• Analyze trends to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOPs and KB updates; mentor TP1 staff.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams.
