Intuit is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments and Pay & File. This high‑volume role requires hands‑on experience and a commitment to mentorship while growing technical depth.

You will partner with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams, contribute to SOPs/KBs, and drive accurate, timely outcomes. FPC required; CPP preferred; remote, flexible hours with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years hands‑on payroll tax experience focused on notice resolution and amended returns
• Experience reading IRS/state notices and determining appropriate resolutions
• Experience preparing amended Federal/State payroll tax returns across multiple states
• Familiarity with payroll tax regulations: FICA, FUTA, FITW, local taxes

Responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts (notices, corrections, amendments, pay & file)
• Independently resolve state and federal payroll tax notices and balance‑due notices
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation and meet deadlines
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (Form 941‑X, W‑2c) and manage corrections
• Manage queue by SLA date and maintain thorough case documentation
• Contribute to SOPs and knowledge bases; collaborate with cross‑functional teams
