Job summary

Intuit seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File. The role requires hands-on experience with notices, amended returns, and tax corrections, with independence in a high‑volume workload.

You will mentor colleagues while expanding your technical depth. You will collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File, and Tax Notice teams, maintaining thorough case documentation and contributing to SOPs and knowledge

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll tax experience focusing on notice resolution and amended returns.
• Experience resolving state and federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Familiar with tax payment and filing regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience in multi-state payroll tax environments and payroll service bureaus is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process full‑cycle payroll tax case work and maintain compliance across jurisdictions.
• Research and resolve complex notices, balance‑due and deposit mismatch notices.
• Prepare agency responses and amended returns (Form 941‑X, W‑2c).
• Support correction workflows and document audit trails to resolution.
