Intuit's Payroll Tax Operations team seeks a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve notices, correct payroll errors, and prepare amended returns with independence on a high-volume workload. The role emphasizes mentoring teammates and growing technical depth while delivering accurate tax outcomes for clients.

The position is a SelectTime engagement, offering flexible hours with 20–40 weekly hours, overtime eligibility, and exposure to multiple jurisdictions.

Formación

• 2–3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience focused on notices and amendments.
• Experience reading notices, determining resolution paths, and ensuring compliance.
• Proven ability to prepare amended returns (941-X, W-2c) across multiple states.
• Familiar with payroll tax regulations, deposits, and payroll platform use.

Responsabilidades

• Execute full-cycle payroll tax case work for assigned accounts with SLA focus.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal payroll tax notices independently.
• Prepare agency responses with documentation and ensure timely submission.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (form 941-X and state equivalents).
• Support correction workflows: identify errors, quantify tax impact, document audit trails.
• Manage personal WIP queue and prioritize to close cases on time.
• Perform trend analysis to identify process or system deficiencies.
• Contribute to SOP and KB updates and mentor TP1 staff.
