Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Tax Processor to resolve payroll tax issues across notices, corrections, amendments, and Pay & File. This remote, part-time to full-time role offers independence, mentoring, and career growth.

You will research state and federal notices, prepare amended returns, and ensure tax compliance while collaborating with the Tax Notice, Corrections, Amendments, and Pay & File teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on payroll tax experience across multiple states.
• Experience resolving IRS/state notices and preparing amended returns.
• Proficient in Form 941-X and W-2c preparation.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliation and tracing discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with agencies.
• FPC certification required; CPP preferred for 4+ years.

Responsabilités

• Lead full-cycle payroll tax case work from intake to closure.
• Research and resolve complex state and federal notices.
• Prepare agency responses with supporting documentation.
• Prepare amended payroll tax returns (941-X, W-2c).
• Document audit trails and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Corrections, Amendments, Pay & File teams.
