Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll processing using Workday for exempt and non-exempt employees across multiple states.

The role emphasizes accuracy in tax withholdings, timekeeping reviews, and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have at least five years in payroll, with three years in Workday, and the ability to handle confidential information and sensitive data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma AND
• Five (5) years of payroll experience INCLUDING
• Three (3) years of Workday payroll experience OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to clear required background check

Responsibilities

• End-to-end preparation and processing of exempt/non-exempt payroll using Workday.
• Reconcile payroll across periods.
• Calculate prorated wages and deductions for hires/terminations.
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings and reciprocity rules.
• Maintain Workday retros processing knowledge.
• Keep payroll records SOX compliant.
• Resolve payroll issues and tax adjustments promptly.
• Address employee inquiries via ticketing system within SLA.
