Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll processing in Workday for biweekly multi-state payroll.

The role emphasizes accuracy, SOX compliance, and timely support for employee inquiries via the ticketing system. The ideal candidate will have five years of payroll experience (including Workday), a High School diploma or higher, and strong Excel skills; this is a remote position supporting ETZ business hours, with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Familiarity with payroll processes, policies, and best practices.
• Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, Zendesk).
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for biweekly exempt/non-exempt multi-state payroll in Workday and OSV.
• Reconcile payroll between periods and review prorated wages/deductions.
• Ensure accurate tax withholdings and state/local registrations; handle notices with timely resolutions.
• Maintain payroll records in SOX-compliant manner and assist with year-end activities.
