The Heritage Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage hourly and salary payroll, audit data, and ensure accurate tax reporting while maintaining confidentiality. This remote role with occasional in-office time requires residency within 75 miles of the Indianapolis area.

You will process payroll using Workday, handle garnishments and union-related files, respond to employee wage verifications, and support payroll teams with process improvements.

Formación

• 3+ years of direct payroll processing experience.
• Experience using Workday for payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a union environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process payroll entries, audits, and finalization for hourly and salary employees.
• Handle garnishments, child support, and related tax reports.
• Maintain payroll data integrity and confidentiality.
• Support payroll inbox and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
• Assist with off-cycle payrolls, lay-off checks, and file uploads for 401K/HSA/Taxes.
