This remote position offers flexibility as a PT/FT role with a standard Monday–Friday schedule, requiring meticulous record-keeping and strong communication to ensure timely, accurate payments.

Candidates should have at least two years of multi-state payroll experience and proficiency with payroll systems, spreadsheets, and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of payroll deductions, garnishments, and adjustments.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, data entry, and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process and review biweekly payroll for accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to employee questions about paychecks, deductions, and corrections.
• Update benefit deductions and process approved payroll adjustments.
• Manage wage garnishments and other withholding orders.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and coordinate corrections.
• Assist with employment and income verification requests.
• Support payroll reporting, account reconciliation, and system updates.
• Maintain the confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
