Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a reliable Remote Payroll Administrator to support payroll processing across multiple U.S. states. You will handle employee pay inquiries, deductions, and payroll record management while maintaining confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of multi-state payroll experience, strong organization, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. This role offers a remote schedule and Monday–Friday workdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of multi-state payroll experience
• Knowledge of payroll deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, data entry, and payroll systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a remote environment
• English language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Process and review biweekly payroll for accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to employee questions about paychecks, deductions, and payment corrections.
• Update benefit deductions and process approved payroll adjustments.
• Manage wage garnishments and other withholding orders.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and coordinate corrections.
• Assist with employment and income verification requests.
• Support payroll reporting, account reconciliation, and system updates.
• Maintain the confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
