The role requires at least two years of multi-state payroll experience, knowledge of deductions and garnishments, and strong spreadsheet and data-entry skills. This is a remote, full-time/part-time position with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years multi-state payroll experience.
• Knowledge of deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and payroll systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Remote work ability and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for accuracy and timely payments.
• Maintain payroll records and supporting documents.
• Respond to employee questions about pay, deductions, and corrections.
• Update benefit deductions and process payroll adjustments.
• Manage wage garnishments and withholding orders.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and coordinate corrections.
• Assist with employment and income verification requests.
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliation, and system updates.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
