Job summary

Workstream is seeking a Payroll Managed Services Representative to support customers remotely across the United States, using AI-powered tools to deliver accurate payroll services.

You will collaborate with the Engineering, Product, and Design teams to streamline workflows, uphold confidentiality, and continuously improve payroll operations for speed and reliability.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in payroll or related fields and a detail-oriented, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, customer service, operations, HR technology, finance operations, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and use AI-powered tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions, investigate issues, and resolve clearly.
• Prepare regular payrolls using client data.
• Review payroll data for discrepancies and follow controls.
• Deliver accurate payroll services on time.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve speed and quality.
• Apply human judgment to AI outputs.
• Identify recurring issues for automation.
• Share feedback with team leaders and EPD.
• Participate in testing and rollout of AI tools.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base improvements.
• Meet service, quality, and customer-experience goals.
